From barn raisings to soup kitchens, ordinary Americans have always made an extraordinary
difference in the lives of their neighbors and in their communities by lending a helping hand.
Today, America needs the service of its citizens more than ever. Hunger, lack of adequate shelter,
poor health—these are issues that affect all of us. The Jersey Shore Scouting community believes
that we can do something about these issues—if we work together. That's why we've created Good
Turn for America. Good Turn for America is a collaboration with many community organizations
that focuses the power of volunteerism on important community projects like Scouting For Food.

Hands For Health Massage donated 1 Luminary Bag
for every massage done from April 1 through the Relay
event in May in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. Luminary Bag's were sold
for $5.00. Each bag was intended as a
rememberance of a friend or loved one who has been lost to Cancer,
has survived cancer, or is just in your thoughts and prayers.
